The front of Rajghat Ganga cross of Varanasi is called Parao .Probably in the ancient times, travelers was taking rest here before crossing the Ganges,The village is known as Area Parao of Sujabad,Domari, Bahadurpur, Jalilpur and Bhojpur.Once upon a time, the only Ganga bridge connecting Varanasi to the Gangetic terrain wasRajghat.Due to this, the name of Parao Choraha became well known land mark in the country.
